Information we collect

Byinsured collects minimal personal information. When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address. When you submit a contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message. We do not sell, rent, or share this information with third parties.

Cookies and analytics

We use cookies to understand how visitors use our site. This includes page view data, referral sources, and approximate geographic location (country level). We use Google Analytics for this purpose. You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

We also display advertising via Google AdSense, which may use cookies to show relevant ads based on your browsing history. You can manage your ad preferences at adssettings.google.com.

How we use your information

• Email address — used only to send the newsletter you subscribed to. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in any email.
• Contact form submissions — used to respond to your enquiry. Not stored beyond the period required to respond.
• Analytics data — used in aggregate to understand which content is useful. Not linked to individual identities.

Data retention

Newsletter subscribers’ email addresses are retained until you unsubscribe. Contact form submissions are retained for up to 90 days. Analytics data is retained per Google Analytics standard retention settings (26 months for user-level data).

Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@byinsured.com.

If you are in the European Economic Area, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority if you believe we have violated data protection law.

Third-party links

Our articles may link to third-party websites, including regulator websites, insurer documents, and news sources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of Byinsured after any change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
